How to Create Sponsorship Packages

How to structure tiers, benefits and pricing into clear sponsorship packages.

Pick a structure that scales

Most events work well with three to five tiers — for example Title, Presenting, Supporting and Partner. If your packages are cumulative, higher tiers can include the benefits of lower ones. State this clearly so sponsors see the full value of moving up.

Write benefits as promises, not line items

Logo placement, shout-outs and booth space are better described by where and when they happen. "Logo on step-and-repeat at registration" is more compelling than "signage".

Make every package feel different

Each tier should have at least one benefit the tier below does not. The clearest packages give a sponsor a reason to move up, not just a bigger logo.

Use data to set, then adjust, prices

Start from audience size, engagement and reach, then adjust for local market reality. Re-run your estimate whenever the event changes — the number is a recommendation, not a verdict.
