Managing Event Sponsors
How to keep sponsors informed, happy and on track from yes to the closing thank-you.

Confirm every promise in writing
Right after a yes, send a short summary of exactly what the sponsor receives, the assets you need from them and key dates. A shared record prevents the most common sponsor disputes.
Set delivery deadlines early
Logos, signage files and booth details all have production lead times. Give sponsors a deadline two to three weeks before you actually need the asset.
Give a single point of contact
Sponsors should never have to chase three volunteers. One person owns the relationship from confirmation through thank-you.
Close the loop with results
Within two weeks of the event, share what you promised: real attendance, reach and photos. This is the foundation of next year's renewal.
