Give sponsors a reason to help promote

The more visible your event, the more valuable the sponsorship. Share ready-made graphics, suggested posts and a tracked link with each sponsor so their promotion counts toward the audience they are paying to reach.

Market where your audience already is

Pick two or three channels — usually a local Facebook group, email and one community partner — and show up consistently. Reach beats channel count.

Build a simple marketing checklist

A repeatable list — save-the-date, early-bird, sponsor reveal, schedule drop, week-of reminders, day-of coverage — turns one event into a system you can reuse every year.

Measure what you promise sponsors

Whatever you quoted in the package — attendance, reach, impressions — capture it after the event. Honest after-action numbers make renewals easy and protect your reputation.
